The colors and fonts were almost the only design elements that carried over from the website that was less than one week ago to what appears at their domain name today. The client expressed that the site should feature photos of adults and kids on the home page. They wanted a textured background, a drop down menu, the facebook “like” box and to send visitors to check out their youtube channel. They wanted offers to be apparent and a feed from each of their blogs to be updated automatically. I encouraged keeping keyword rich copy that already appeared there and all of this added up to a tricky layout. I have to admit, I liked the site before – but I’m really happy with the way the redesign turned out and this one is most certainly more inviting to browse and represents the company to a broader audience.
